About Us

A family-run café
on the high street.

We are a family-run independent café based on the high street in the historic village of Botley. We first opened in 2021 with the aim of providing a great selection of food options built on quality and consistency.

The menu over the years has developed and we now offer Breakfast, Lunch and Daily Specials throughout the day. Complemented with great service, great tasting coffee and speciality drinks — we hope there is something at Harvey's for everyone.

Like all things, our menu has evolved over time based on customer feedback and by working with local suppliers. Quality and consistency are at the forefront of every decision — most notably in our homemade bubble and squeak cake, a Harvey's signature.

Good to know.

Do you take table reservations?

We welcome walk-ins and do our very best to seat everyone promptly. For groups of six or more, or if you'd like to be certain of a table at a particular time, please use our enquiry form or give us a call and we'll do everything we can to accommodate you.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. Our menu clearly marks vegetarian (V) and vegan (VE) options. A gluten free menu is available upon request for both breakfast and lunch. Please speak with your server before ordering and we'll guide you through everything safely.

What are your opening hours?

We're open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm, and Saturday from 8am to 3pm. We're closed on Sundays. Breakfast is served until mid-morning, with our full lunch menu available throughout the day. Last food orders are 30 minutes before closing.

Is there parking nearby?

There is short-stay on-street parking on and around the high street in Botley, plus a free car park a short walk away. The village is also well served by local bus routes. Use our Google Maps link below for the most up-to-date route guidance.

Do you accept card payments?

Yes — we accept all major credit and debit cards as well as contactless and mobile payments. Cash is equally welcome.

Do you have a takeaway service?

Absolutely. All items on our menu are available to take away. Simply let a member of staff know when you order and we'll have everything packaged up for you.
